DIY Flower Shaped Gift Box with Paper

This week's tutorial shows how to create these flower shaped gift boxes out of paper!

Materials:
-Card stock paper
-Hot glue
-Scissors
-Pencil
-Ruler
-Cricut Scoring Stylus

Pop-Up Butterfly Card

This week's project is this pop-up butterfly card you can make for your mom or grandma for Mother's Day!

Here are the patterns:

You'll need to cut:

• 2 wings
• 5 flowers
• 5 stars
• 1 tag
• 1 oval
• 6 circles - just ignore that smaller circle, and the use the bigger one for all of them.

You'll need a steady hand and sharp Xacto knife for this project, and if you're not an adult, please ask one to help you!

Mini Flower Vase Card

Tutorial: Mother's Day Card {2015}

A new video is up! It is all about how to make a cute flower pot themed card for Mother's Day. 

This card is simple to make and I think it would
 work great as a craft for kids to make!

To print it, hover over it and click the right icon at the top (that says "Pop-out" when you hover on it). Next, click on the printer icon at the top. Finally, make sure the paper size on the lower left is set to 8x10 and the "fit to page option" is checked.

This idea was based on some cute Mother's Day cards on Pinterest.

Tutorial: Paper Birdhouse for Mother's Day

A new video just went up! It shows how to create a cute little paper birdhouse, 

which you can fill with candy and give to your mom for Mother's Day! 

       You could also make these for other occasions, of course - I think they'd be great for Easter, too.

If you are going to be putting candy in the birdhouse, make sure to use paper that is strong enough to hold it. Card stock works very well for this.
