Father's Day Card - Google Search Themed + Free Printables

A new video just went up! This one shows how to create this google search themed card.
It shows a search for "World's Best Dad" with your dad's name in the results!

Here are the patterns:

(Note: those of you who use a non-Gmail email address may not be able to access this file due to the way Google Drive works. If you have a Gmail address, open another window and log into it, then reload this page. If you're having trouble you can email me at pugdemonium1@gmail.com)

Here is the google search printable:

This is an editable pdf.

Hover over it, and click on the top right button. Next, click the download arrow at the top middle. Double click to open the downloaded file. Click on each area that says insert name here to edit the text. Then, print it (size should be set to 8x10 - make sure fit to page is NOT checked).

You should be able to click on the text to edit it - if you have trouble, please do not hesitate to contact me. If you just can't get it to work (or don't have access to the programs needed) send me an email at pugdemonium1 (at) gmail (dot) com. I will edit in your dad's name and email it to you, free of charge - if you need this done, please contact me asap.

If you try this, I'd love to see it! Tag me on instagram @pugdemonium

Tutorial: Father's Day Card - Fishing Themed + Free Patterns

This week's video is up and it shows how to create this fishing themed card for Father's Day!

You can create any kind of fish you want (like the rainbow trout on the right), but for the purpose of this video, I made a simple, solid colored one to give you the basic idea.

Here are the patterns:

(Note: If you do not have a Google account you unfortunately may not be able to access this file due to the way Google Drive (where this file is stored) works. If you have a Google account, open another window and log into it, then reload this page. If you don't have a google account, you can make one here)

I used elmer's glue in this video, but if you have a hot glue
gun I think that would work best for this project.

As always, if you try this project, I'd love to see it! Tag me on instagram

Tutorial: Father's Day Card - Car Themed

A new video is up! This is the first of three father's day card
tutorials going up over the next couple weeks.

If your dad loves cars, especially old cars, this card will be perfect for Father's Day!

Here is the colored image of the car. Use this to see where each piece goes on the car and which color of paper to use. (You don't need to print this, just keep it on screen where you can see it.)

(I just used the same paper as the body of the car for #3, and colored it slightly darker with a pencil.)

Here are the patterns:

To print it, hover over it and click the right icon at the top
(that says "Pop-out" when you hover on it). Next, click on the printer icon at the top.
Finally, make sure the paper size on the lower left is set to 8x10.

(Note: If you do not have a Google account you unfortunately may not be able to access this file due to the way Google Drive (where this file is stored) works. If you have a Google account, open another window and log into it, then reload this page. If you don't have a google account, you can make one here)

Keep in mind that there are a few numbers missing.

(In the final version, I decided to take out a few pieces to simplify it, and I didn't want to change the numbers because they'd be different than what was shown in the video)

The numbers that are missing are 1, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 17 -  just skip over these.
(You'll be starting with #2 and ending with #21)

To make this, you'll need:
- the patterns above (and access to a printer)
- a silver marker/ silver Sharpie
- a pencil
- a pen
- scissors
- glue
- scrapbook paper

You'll need 5 colors of scrapbook paper for this project:
- one for the body of the car
- one for the accent color of the car
- one for the tires and grill
- one for the windows
- and one for the base of the card

Feel free to ask any questions! If you make this project, I'd love to see it - tag me on instagram @pugdemonium.  I hope to share some of these photos in a video soon!
