Paper Gingerbread House Tutorial
New video! Shows how to create a paper gingerbread house!
After the video was uploaded, I realized the clip showing how to put the house together accidentally got deleted. To put together the house, fold back all the tabs, put glue on them, and glue the pieces together. If you have any questions, please comment below :)
Here are the patterns for the house:
(Make sure to print these at 8x10)
(Note: If you do not have a Google account you unfortunately may not be able to access this file due to the way Google Drive (where this file is stored) works. If you have a Google account, open another window and log into it, then reload this page. If you don't have a google account, you can make one here)
Also, on the pattern below, don't cut the whole window out,
leave some space around the inner lines :)
If you create this, I'd love to see it! Tag me on instagram @essyjae or email me at pugdemonium1@gmail.com.

Paper Haunted Houses
New video! This one shows how to create these
paper haunted houses that you can fill with candy!
And when the candy is gone, you can put a light in them (not a candle :) )
and use them as luminaries!
Candy doesn't last a super long time at my house, haha, so these
houses in the photo are not filled with candy.
But, something like the mini candy bars would be perfect to fill it with!
Here are the patterns you'll need:

Tutorial: Father's Day Card - Fishing Themed + Free Patterns
This week's video is up and it shows how to create this fishing themed card for Father's Day!
You can create any kind of fish you want (like the rainbow trout on the right), but for the purpose of this video, I made a simple, solid colored one to give you the basic idea.
Here are the patterns:
(Note: If you do not have a Google account you unfortunately may not be able to access this file due to the way Google Drive (where this file is stored) works. If you have a Google account, open another window and log into it, then reload this page. If you don't have a google account, you can make one here)
I used elmer's glue in this video, but if you have a hot glue
gun I think that would work best for this project.
As always, if you try this project, I'd love to see it! Tag me on instagram
@pugdemonium or you can email me at pugdemonium1 {at} gmail {dot} com.

Tutorial: Father's Day Card - Car Themed
A new video is up! This is the first of three father's day card
tutorials going up over the next couple weeks.
tutorials going up over the next couple weeks.
If your dad loves cars, especially old cars, this card will be perfect for Father's Day!
Here is the colored image of the car. Use this to see where each piece goes on the car and which color of paper to use. (You don't need to print this, just keep it on screen where you can see it.)
(I just used the same paper as the body of the car for #3, and colored it slightly darker with a pencil.)
Here are the patterns:
To print it, hover over it and click the right icon at the top
(that says "Pop-out" when you hover on it). Next, click on the printer icon at the top.
Finally, make sure the paper size on the lower left is set to 8x10.
(Note: If you do not have a Google account you unfortunately may not be able to access this file due to the way Google Drive (where this file is stored) works. If you have a Google account, open another window and log into it, then reload this page. If you don't have a google account, you can make one here)
Keep in mind that there are a few numbers missing.
(In the final version, I decided to take out a few pieces to simplify it, and I didn't want to change the numbers because they'd be different than what was shown in the video)
The numbers that are missing are 1, 12, 13, 14, 15 & 17 - just skip over these.
(You'll be starting with #2 and ending with #21)
To make this, you'll need:
- the patterns above (and access to a printer)
- a silver marker/ silver Sharpie
- a pencil
- a pen
- scissors
- glue
- scrapbook paper
You'll need 5 colors of scrapbook paper for this project:
- one for the body of the car
- one for the accent color of the car
- one for the tires and grill
- one for the windows
- and one for the base of the card
Feel free to ask any questions! If you make this project, I'd love to see it - tag me on instagram @pugdemonium. I hope to share some of these photos in a video soon!

How to Make an Easter Basket
A new video is up, and it's about how to make an Easter basket!
The finished size of this basket (not including the handle) is roughly 4" x 4" x 4".
Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
-When you weave the squares pieces in, try to make sure each of the side pieces alternate over and under it. If one piece is over, the one next to it should go under. This will keep the color pattern consistent.
(If you're watching closely in the video, when I wove in the first piece I make a mistake and have two pieces next to each other that are the same- oops! Please ignore this and follow the under-over rule)
-If you don't have a glue gun, white glue should also work if you let it dry after each step.

This bracelet is adjustable because of a simple cobra stitch knot in the back.
Tutorial: Adding Beading to Sandals
A new video is up! In this tutorial, I show you how I add beads onto sandals.
I tried this on a pair of sandals for this first time about 5 years ago. They are still some of my favorite shoes I own (they've held up super well), and I can't believe how many compliments I've received on them! So, I decided to do this with another pair of sandals and made a video about it!
A few things to keep in mind:
- It doesn't really matter what sandals you choose for this project, they just need to have plenty of blank space to add beads to.
- You will probably run out of thread every so often. All you need to do is tie the old thread with the new thread, multiple times. Pull on it to make sure it is very secure. You can just weave the leftover tails into the beading.
- Try to make sure that the needle always goes through the thickest part of the sandal material. If it just goes through a thin edge of the material, the stitch may tear out eventually.
- If you're using beads of varying sizes (like I did) and you want to keep all the rows a fairly even length, you'll need to decrease or increase the number of beads you use in each row, depending on their size. For example, on the thinnest parts of the sandal, I used 5 of the smallest beads (size 11), 4 of the medium sized beads (size 8), and 3 of the largest size beads (size 6) in each row.
- If the sandal gets wider/thinner like mine did, you'll also need to add/subtract from the amount of beads you're using.
If you're interested, you can buy the sandals I used here: http://www.kmart.com/joe-boxer-women-s-silver-gladiator-thong-sandal/p-035VA81250912P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1

Tutorial: Paper Birdhouse for Mother's Day
A new video just went up! It shows how to create a cute little paper birdhouse,
which you can fill with candy and give to your mom for Mother's Day!
You could also make these for other occasions, of course - I think they'd be great for Easter, too.
Here are the patterns:
To print it, hover over it and click the right icon at the top (that says "Pop-out" when you hover on it). Next, click on the printer icon at the top. Finally, make sure the paper size on the lower left is set to 8x10 and the "fit to page option" is checked.

If you have a Google account, open another window and log into it, then reload this page. If you don't have a google account, you can make one here)
If you are going to be putting candy in the birdhouse, make sure to use paper that is strong enough to hold it. Card stock works very well for this.
